About Sinead

Sinead is an award winning classically trained soprano based in Limerick. She has been studying singing with well known Limerick vocal coach Olive Cowpar for the last five years. During this time Sinead has been successful in many prestigious competitions throughout Munster area. Her most recent victory was at Feile Luimni 2012 where she was awarded the Overall Voice Of  Feile along with achieving first place for the Corn Ui Cheallachain Cup  ( opera )for her performance of Mon Coeur Souvre Ta Voix and winner of the Boyd Cup for interpretation.  Sinead has also been awarded with the Christopher Lynch bursary for singers in Limerick where she was chosen from hundreds of entries for her performance of  O Mio Babino Caro and Nella Fantasia.

Sinead has been performing at a professional level for the last five years both competing and working with the world famous Bunratty Castle entertainers. She can be found performing on stage at Bunratty castle and singing at weddings and other corporate events around the country. Sinead has also performed at Thomond Park stadium as a soloist for the Munster Rugby team where she sang the Munster anthem Stand up and Fight on front over 15 thousand supporters.Sinead has competed in Feile Luimni and Feis Mattiu where she was delighted to take home the cup after achieving first place in the mezzo soprano and the Macdonagh cup.

Sinead has collaborated with other Limerick artists such as tenor Derek Moloney where they have astounded audiences with duets from phantom of the opera and Andrea Bocelli Time too say good bye..
