Sinead is a classically trained Soprano Soloist based in Limerick. Sinead has recently performed at an event held for the current Sydney Rose , who is competing amongst the other roses in the world famous festival "the rose of tralee". The oudoor event took place on the grounds of Croagh guest house where the Sydney Rose was staying. Sinead was delighted to perform several Irish folk songs and of course "The Rose of Tralee" Sinead has recently been chosen to be part of "Limerick's got Music" the album. The CD is a collaboration of 15 talented Limerick musicians and singers, it is in aid of the "Children's Ark" Ward in the regional hospital Limerick. The cd will be released into the Irsh charts and hopes to make the number one spot it goes on sale in September 2010 and Sinead is delighted to be given the chance to perform one of her favourite songs on the album " Nella Fantasia ". She also held her own fund raising event for the CD where she performed several of her favourite songs at a Spring Time candlelit Church concert in her home town of Patrickswell, alongside one of Limericks well known musicians from the group COMA Fiona Linanne. Here they raised over €400 for the cause. Sinead has performed at many different events with her involvement in Bunratty Castle. In December 2009 Bunratty Castle opened it's doors to its first ever panto, Sinead starred as "Princess Cora" and really enjoyed the experience of playing such a fun role.
She was also given the chance to perform with Aims Best Actor winner Martin Macneilis in Adare Manor recently where they sang the well known song "All i ask of you" from Phantom of the Opera.
Bunratty also took to the airwaves of CBS radio station in America, where Sinead alongside fellow Bunratty Entertainers performed live from Durty Nelly's where it was broadcast across the air with song's Jug Of Punch and The Parting Glass. Sinead is no stranger to Feile Luimni and again in 2010 she competed in and was placed in third place in each of her categories. Feile is a very strict and highly prestigoues competition and she is delighted to be placed and to be learning more about singing and performing each year from the present adjudicator. In July 09 Sinead performed as a soloist at the 70th anniversary of the Foynes Flyin boat museum/festival. Attending this prestigous event was the American Ambassador amongst 160 invited guests. Here songs from the castle banquet were performed such as The Parting Glass and She is far from the land. Sinead has competed in Feis Maiteau 09 and was awarded First place in the Mezzo Soprano. She also competed in Feile Luimni 09 in the Georgian House Limerick, here she was awarded 3rd place in The Penny Cup and The Macdonagh. Sinead has competed in Feilie Luimni 07, here she received first place in the category "Moore's Melodies" and was also awarded certificates in several areas. She also performed at Feis in Cork 08 where she was placed in many categories. Sinead is also a member of the "Thomand Singers" as their Soprano, amongst other entertainers including Mezzo Soprano, Tenor and Baritone all trained by voice coach Olive Cowpar. They headlined a concert in Knockaderry 09, where Sinead gave solo performances of your old classics like "Danny Boy" and "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". She also performed a beautiful duet from "Phantom of the Opera" entitled "All I Ask Of You" with baritone Richard Hayes. Sinead has also performed live on TnaG on a show called Glas Vegas, and again was also placed down to the final three in an up in coming show called Nollaig Number one , also on TnaG. Sinead also performed with Limerick's Musical Society on their "Its Broadway" show in October 07. "Here I performed hits from Hair Spray and The Rocky Horror Show". She was then given the opportunity to perform at the " Share a Dream Foundation " as a soloist along with the cast of "It's Broadway". She has been studying singing with well known voice coach Olive Cowpar. Sinead has also performed on front of Ireland's own Rebecca Storm during a two week programme studying music and song in Goff's, Dublin.
"I believe in working alongside the wedding couple in helping to make the wedding ceremony as special as it should be on the day. I can work with many genres of music to suit the ceremony, from classical, opera, songs from the shows, hymns , contemporary and many many more. As I have performed both on and off the stage, Choir , Feile , Musicals you name it. I really enjoy singing at wedding ceremonies and looking forward to many more. "
